  • Category 24 - Most Outstanding Wholesaler - Destination / Experience

Step 1 - Submit a profile for Industry Voting

  • Entrants will be asked to submit a voting profile within the Awards Portal, from 01 – 19 September.

  • The voting profile will consist of a 50-word call-to-action as to why the industry should vote for you, your company logo as well as 4 accompanying images showcasing your product / service.

Industry voting, Finalist Determination and ranking score

  • Those businesses that submit a voting profile will be announced as Nominees. Nominees will be put forward for industry voting.

  • The 5 nominees with the highest number of votes in their respective category will proceed as Finalists.

  • The number / percentage of votes received will be counted towards the winner determination process, however the specific process is still being finalised.

Step 2 - Finalists to attend a Virtual Judging Presentation

  • Finalists are required to make a presentation to a panel of 2 -3 judges from the Industry Judging Panel. The presentations will be facilitated virtually.

  • Finalists will be asked to address another series of questions, also outlined within the Entrant Guidelines.

  • Virtual judging presentations will be scheduled between  01 September and 19  September, with morning and afternoon time blocks. The morning block will be from 9:30am - 12:30pm AEST; and afternoon block from 2:00pm - 5:00pm AEST (give or take 30mins, pending the judges’ availabilities and number of finalists).

  • We will email you the judging schedule, as well as the date, time slot, allocated judges and meeting link for your interview.

  • Failure to attend your scheduled interview without prior notice may result in disqualification and the next ranking nominee promoted to Finalist.

  • During your presentation, please have your presentation loaded and share your screen. Then, proceed at your own pace and clearly indicate when you are addressing each question. The focus of your presentation should be an analysis of your business and not a sales / promotional call.

  • Finalists are responsible for managing their own time during the interview. We recommend allocating approximately 20-25mins to address the pre-set questions, allowing adequate time to greet the judges, briefly introduce yourself, and respond to any questions that may arise.

  • Please check your computer and firewall settings to ensure that you can access the link provided; that you have access to reliable internet; and that you are in a quiet, private and well-lit location.

Interview Scoring & Winner Determination

  • During the interview, each judge will have their own score sheet.

  • For each score sheet, the judge will give you a score out of 10 for how well you answered each of the 5 questions. You will receive another score out of 10 mark for each of the following criteria: delivery & engagement, knowledge & content, structure and organisation, quality of examples, and visual presentation.

  • Finalists will receive a score out of 100 from each judge for their interview.

  • The finalist with the highest combined score (ranking + interview) will be confirmed as the winner and announced at the NTIA Gala Dinner and Awards presentation.
